What are the best days of the shows?
As melhores Escolas de Samba desfilam no Grupo Especial, domingo, segunda e terça de carnaval (colunas destacadas em cinza). As 12 melhores Escolas de Samba desfilam nestes dias, sendo divididas em três grupos de quatro escolas cada dia.
Best Sectors
Noo Setor 2 que fica no início do desfile, garante o espectador entreterimento durante todo o tempo, já que assim que uma escola terminar de passar, outra já estará ali aquecendo.

What kind of Tickets to buy?
BLEACHERS:
The bleachers are large concrete steps, located in the highest part of the Sambódromo, with an incredible aerial view of the parade. Grandstand tickets are the best value for money at Carnival in Rio de Janeiro and the location at the top gives an excellent perspective of the samba school as a whole.
FRISES:
Located at ground level, as close as possible to the walkway, in four rows of boxes, from A to D. Each box accommodates six people in numbered chairs. They are absolutely the best tickets you can get if your goal is to watch the shows. The friezes areas are the least crowded in the sambodrome.
COVERED FRIPES:
Located in Sector 7 on the D-row level. With a privileged view over rows A, B and C. Ideal for those looking for more space and comfort to watch the parade. It is also the option for those who do not want to run the risk of getting wet in the frequent summer rains. Equipped with a super fan, each pod seats up to 12 people on a U-shaped sofa with padded seats and cell phone chargers.
